Xiaomi finally show off its new flagship phones – Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. What makes these phones super unique is they got not one but two screens. First time in a long while we see candybar flagship with secondary display at back.
Magic Back Screen – What It Can Do?
Xiaomi teasing us with the “Magic Back Screen” that can do many cool things. You can display different clock faces, app info, act as selfie viewfinder for rear cameras, and show colorful designs. It look like Xiaomi wanna make rear screen much useful, not just gimmick. Earlier, Mi 11 Ultra had small rear screen but this time it looks much bigger and more ambitious.
Why This Matters?
Having second display is super helpful for quick glance at info, taking selfies with rear cam, checking notifications without turning phone screen on, and showing your style with colorful patterns. Xiaomi 17 Pro & 17 Pro Max will be officially launched later this month. We already saw teaser video, but full specs & price still not confirmed.
