OPPO Pad 5 Leak – Big 12.1″ 3K 144Hz Display, Dimensity 9400+, Up to 16GB RAM Coming Soon

OPPO is getting ready to launch there next big tablet – OPPO Pad 5 – in China later this year. This one is the follow up to OPPO Pad 3, and now leaks from Digital Chat Station show some juicy specs. Looks like OPPO going all out with display, chip and battery this time.

Big Display Upgrade

The Pad 5 is said to have a 12.1-inch 3K+ LCD with 144Hz variable refresh rate. It should keep TÜV Rheinland cert, DC Dimming, and also support stylus for note taking or drawing. Bigger screen means more space for work and fun.

Faster Processor

Under the hood, it’s tipped to run the new Dimensity 9400+ 3nm chip with Immortalis-G925 GPU. This replace the older Dimensity 8350 from last gen, so expect better speed and gaming. CPU clock speed can go up to 3.73GHz.

Memory & Storage

Leaks say it will come in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM options, with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. Enough space for apps, games, and media.

Cameras

Both front and back cameras are 8MP. Rear one has LED flash. Not crazy high megapixel, but fine for video calls and docs scan.

Battery & Charging

Big 10300mAh battery (typical) with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. Should last long even with high refresh display. Weight is around 579g.

Connectivity & Extras

Supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C audio, Hi-Res audio cert, NFC, and even 5G sharing. No SIM slot mentioned, but can share phone’s 5G.

Launch Timeline

Expected to launch in China this October along with OPPO Find X9 series. Colors could be Purple, Silver, and Gray. Later, it might come as OnePlus Pad 2 in other markets.
